Normandy Farms Campground by Lark

A few years ago, Mom read an article about the most dog friendly campgrounds.  When she planned our trip in 2020, she tried to go to as many as possible.  But, as we all know, Covid had different plans and we didn’t get to go to New England.  Instead, we spent most of our time looking at rocks out west.  Boring.  I’ve changed my mind about some rocks because here in New England, they have nice … [Read more...] about Normandy Farms Campground by Lark

Boston by Cathy

How to describe Boston?  A mix of old and new.  American and Italian, Chinese, and Irish. Gardens covering underground parking lots.  Congested roads thick with traffic and pedestrians.  Multi storied historic buildings with trees growing on their roofs.  Subways under cobblestone streets.  Costumed actors portraying historical figures while escorting tourist along the freedom … [Read more...] about Boston by Cathy

Southern Coast of Maine by Cathy

As Ross said, we felt like we should have spent more time in midcoastal Maine, but we had reservations to meet.  We planned to spend five nights at Sandy Pines Campground and had tickets for a whale watch tour and a lobster boat tour.  So, we headed south to Kennebunkport, Maine. Sandy Pines Campground was beautifully maintained and had a lot of options for camping.  We had a full … [Read more...] about Southern Coast of Maine by Cathy

Midcoastal Maine by Ross (and Cathy)

When we left Bar Harbor, I wasn’t sure what to expect.  Mom said we’d gone as far north as we would go, and it was time to start moving south.  I wondered if we were going home but turns out we got to stay in Maine a while longer.  In fact, Mom said she wished we had planned to spend more time in midcoastal Maine.   We camped at Camden Hills RV Resort.  There wasn’t a dog park, but there were a … [Read more...] about Midcoastal Maine by Ross (and Cathy)

Dog Friendly Campgrounds by Lark

Ross:  Mom wants us to talk about the campgrounds where we have been staying. Lark:  You mean Mom wants me to talk about the campgrounds.  That’s about all I’ve seen you little sneak. Ross:  What do you mean?  I’m not sneaky. Lark:  Yes, you are.  I see how you’ve wheedled yourself into going on the day trips.  While I stay at the camper and do my job of protecting our stuff.   You just … [Read more...] about Dog Friendly Campgrounds by Lark
