Casey, Illinois by Lark and Ross

Ross:  So, in Illinois, we went to this town called Casey.  They claim that they are the Big Things Little Town. Lark:  Hold up squirt.  I’m taking the reins on this post. Ross:  What?  I write about CLHTs now. Lark:  Nope, not this one.  I got to go to Casey, so I’m going to talk about. Ross:  You do campgrounds.  I talk about everything else. Lark:  Not anymore.  My stomach is … [Read more...] about Casey, Illinois by Lark and Ross

Nashville, Indiana by Ross

Nashville, Indiana is just another CLHT.  Lark told me I would get to know CLHTs, and I have.  CLHT means cute little historic town.  Mom is all about them.  In fact, Dad says I must learn to tolerate it like he has.  It means walking up and down streets, making turns into alleys and around corners just to see how people are using their historic buildings.  She gets really excited when the … [Read more...] about Nashville, Indiana by Ross

Campgrounds in PA by Lark

Lark here to tell you about some dog friendly campgrounds in Pennsylvania.  We spent almost two weeks in PA, as I like to call it-Puppies Accepting.  For the most park, Pennsylvania was very dog friendly.  Plus, we got to go over the state line into New Jersey and meet Stacy Barnett for some Nosework training.  She lives just over the line.  She could walk to PA if she wanted to. If my parents … [Read more...] about Campgrounds in PA by Lark

Mystic, Connecticut by Cathy

Ross and Lark are not speaking to me right now.  I did not know how dog friendly Mystic, Connecticut was so made them stay at the trailer.  As it turns out, they could have gone almost everywhere we went.  Live and learn.  Downtown Mystic, right on the Mystic River, is walkable and everywhere you looked there were dogs.  Dining outside cafes and ice cream parlors, entering many stores and just … [Read more...] about Mystic, Connecticut by Cathy

Newport, Rhode Island by Cathy and Ross

Ross:  Hey Mom.  Can I tell the people about the Cliff Walk? Cathy:  Well, if you want to wait a few minutes.  I was just starting to write about Newport, so you can talk about that part of the city.  Just lie down and be patient. Ross:  Okay.  Always gotta wait. Cathy:  Before visiting Newport, Rhode Island, I expected to see mansions from the “Gilded Age” (1870-1900) as well as … [Read more...] about Newport, Rhode Island by Cathy and Ross
